Historically, gross school enrollment of males in primary education in Panama reached an all time high of 118% in 1975 and an all time low of 93.8% in 2016. When compared to Panama's main peers, gross school enrollment of males in primary education in Colombia amounted to 115%, 114% in Costa Rica, 89.9% in Honduras and 112% in Nicaragua in 2020.
