Historically, gross natural gas production as a share of worldwide production in Bahrain reached an all time high of 0.647% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.322% in 1990. When compared to Bahrain's main peers, gross natural gas production as a share of worldwide production in Iran amounted to 7.87%, 0.491% in Kuwait, 5.34% in Qatar and 3.76% in Saudi Arabia in 2015.
