Historically, gross natural gas production as a share of worldwide production in Hungary reached an all time high of 0.196% in 1990 and an all time low of 0.053% in 2012. When compared to Hungary's main peers, gross natural gas production as a share of worldwide production in Austria amounted to 0.043%, 0.008% in Czech Republic, 0.196% in Poland and 0.003% in Slovakia in 2015.
