Historically, goods imports as a part of balance payment in Macedonia reached an all time high of USD 9.89 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 1.20 bil in 1997. When compared to Macedonia's main peers, goods imports as a part of balance payment in Albania amounted to USD 6.01 bil, USD 44.0 bil in Bulgaria, USD 77.5 bil in Greece and USD 5.10 bil in Kosovo in 2021.
Macedonia has been ranked 92nd within the group of 140 countries we follow in terms of goods imports as a part of balance payment, 17 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
