Historically, goods imports as a part of balance payment in Costa Rica reached an all time high of USD 17.7 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 0.805 bil in 1982. When compared to Costa Rica's main peers, goods imports as a part of balance payment in Guatemala amounted to USD 23.3 bil, USD 11.9 bil in Honduras, USD 7.45 bil in Nicaragua and USD 20.4 bil in Panama in 2021.
