Goods exports as a part of the balance of payment rose 30.4% to USD 40.6 bil in Bulgaria in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, goods exports as a part of the balance of payment in Bulgaria reached an all time high of USD 40.6 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 3.36 bil in 1997. When compared to Bulgaria's main peers, goods exports as a part of the balance of payment in Greece amounted to USD 46.2 bil, USD 83.0 bil in Romania, USD 24.5 bil in Serbia and USD 225 bil in Turkey in 2021.
