Geco, a.s is the major purchaser and distributor of Philip Morris's tobacco products in the Czech Republic. The Company operates 250 retail stores throughout the country in 95 cities.
Since 2004, the Company has more than doubled its sales and net profit, to CZK 17.3 bil and CZK 183 mil, respectively, as of the end of 2012. Although operating margin halved since 2005 to 1.3% now, the Company remains impressively profitable with average ROE accounting for 40-50% in the last five years
