Foreign trade in services as a share of GDP rose 3.54% to 26.1% in the European Union in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in the European Union reached an all time high of 27.4% in 2019 and an all time low of 7.93% in 1975. When compared to European Union's main peers, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in China amounted to 4.38%, 7.66% in Japan, 7.40% in Russia and 5.77% in USA in 2021.
