Historically, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Belize reached an all time high of 40.2% in 1989 and an all time low of 25.1% in 2001. When compared to Belize's main peers, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Guatemala amounted to 8.13%, 18.6% in Honduras, 5.18% in Mexico and 5.77% in USA in 2021.
