Historically, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Portugal reached an all time high of 24.9% in 2019 and an all time low of 7.31% in 1976. When compared to Portugal's main peers, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in France amounted to 18.9%, 137% in Ireland, 16.8% in Morocco and 13.5% in Spain in 2021.
