Historically, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Germany reached an all time high of 18.8% in 2019 and an all time low of 4.93% in 1973. When compared to Germany's main peers, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Austria amounted to 28.4%, 46.0% in Belgium, 18.9% in France and 19.1% in Poland in 2021.
