Historically, foreign trade as a share of GDP in Cyprus reached an all time high of 170% in 2021 and an all time low of 92.2% in 1975. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, foreign trade as a share of GDP in Egypt amounted to 31.4%, 89.5% in Greece, 55.0% in Israel and 70.8% in Turkey in 2021.
