Foreign trade as a share of GDP rose 19.8% to 84.9% in East Timor in 2020, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, foreign trade as a share of GDP in East Timor reached an all time high of 180% in 2002 and an all time low of 58.2% in 2017.
