Historically, foreign trade as a share of GDP in Serbia reached an all time high of 117% in 2021 and an all time low of 13.4% in 1995. When compared to Serbia's main peers, foreign trade as a share of GDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 97.2%, 104% in Croatia, 163% in Hungary and 87.4% in Romania in 2021.
