Foreign exchange reserves excluding gold rose 15.3% to USD 109 bil in Vietnam in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, foreign exchange reserves excluding gold in Vietnam reached an all time high of USD 109 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 1.32 bil in 1995. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, foreign exchange reserves excluding gold in Cambodia amounted to USD 17.3 bil, USD 3,314 bil in China, USD 1.48 bil in Laos and USD 232 bil in Thailand in 2021.
