Historically, foreign exchange reserves excluding gold in Mongolia reached an all time high of USD 4.05 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 0.016 bil in 1992. When compared to Mongolia's main peers, foreign exchange reserves excluding gold in China amounted to USD 3,314 bil, USD 10.8 bil in Kazakhstan, USD 2.39 bil in Kyrgyzstan and USD 498 bil in Russia in 2021.
