Historically, foreign direct investments as a share of GDP in Germany reached an all time high of 0.127% in 2000 and an all time low of -0.007% in 2004. When compared to Germany's main peers, foreign direct investments as a share of GDP in Austria amounted to -0.042%, -0.033% in Belgium, 0.006% in France and 0.029% in Poland in 2020.
