Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 3.29% in 2Q2023 and an all time low of 0.263% in 4Q2012. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 2.93%.
Average asset yield was 4.09% in 2Q2024, down from 4.64% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 1.76% in 2Q2024, up from 1.43%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna operated in the second quarter of 2024 with a net interest margin of 1.85% CSOB reached 1.56% and Komercni Banka some 1.56%.
