Final consumption expenditure rose 18.3% to USD 9,023 bil in Kosovo in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, final consumption expenditure in Kosovo reached an all time high of USD 9,023 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 2,732 bil in 2002. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, final consumption expenditure in Albania amounted to USD 15,758 bil, USD 11,573 bil in Macedonia, USD 5,434 bil in Montenegro and USD 52,223 bil in Serbia in 2021.
Kosovo has been ranked 132nd within the group of 151 countries we follow in terms of final consumption expenditure, 14 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
