Female to male primary enrollment rate fell 2.86% to 99.0% in Nepal in 2020, according to World Bank.

Historically, female to male primary enrollment rate in Nepal reached an all time high of 108% in 2012 and an all time low of 17.0% in 1973. When compared to Nepal's main peers, female to male primary enrollment rate in Bangladesh amounted to 109%, 102% in Bhutan, 101% in China and 102% in India in 2020.

Nepal has been ranked 84th within the group of 127 countries we follow in terms of female to male primary enrollment rate, 16 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
