Historically, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Brunei reached an all time high of USD 0.915 bil in 2009 and an all time low of USD 0.200 bil in 2021. When compared to Brunei's main peers, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Indonesia amounted to USD 14.0 bil, USD 20.9 bil in Malaysia, USD 33.6 bil in Philippines and USD 3.67 bil in Vietnam in 2021.
