Historically, exports as a share of GDP in Nigeria reached an all time high of 0.360% in 2000 and an all time low of 0.052% in 1986. When compared to Nigeria's main peers, exports as a share of GDP in Benin amounted to 0.199%, 0.152% in Cameroon, 0.267% in Chad and 0.103% in Niger in 2020.
