Historically, exports as a share of GDP in Nepal reached an all time high of 0.263% in 1997 and an all time low of 0.049% in 1970. When compared to Nepal's main peers, exports as a share of GDP in Bangladesh amounted to 0.107%, 0.318% in Bhutan, 0.200% in China and 0.214% in India in 2021.
