Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 91.4% of income in 2007 and an all time low of 65.1% in 2015.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 3.65% in 2017, down from 3.97% a year earlier.
Staff accounted for 34.8% of total operating expenditures in 2017. The bank operated a network of 67.0 branches and employed 1,075 persons in 2017.
Comparing Erste Bank Serbia with its closest peers, Komercijalna Banka Beograd operated in 2017 with a cost to income ratio of 63.5% in 2017, Bank Intesa Serbia reached 46.5% and Raiffeisenbank Serbia some 57.7%.
