Hungarian banking sector accepted retail deposits of HUF 7,738 bil in 2017, up 6.79% when compared to the last year.
Erste Bank Hungary accounted for 10.7% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Hungary at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 10.7% in 2017 and an all time low of 7.38% in 2013.
That's compared to a 5.71% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
