Equa Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.2% at the end of fourth quarter of 2021, down from 17.5% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 43.8% in 4Q2011 and an all time low of 12.6% in 1Q2016.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.4% at the end of fourth quarter of 2021, down from 15.6% compared to the same period of last year and down from 15.7% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 82.4% at the end of 4Q2021, down from 85.9% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 62.7%.

When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the fourth quarter of 2021 with a capital adequacy ratio at 23.8% and loans to deposits of 70.0%, CSOB with 22.7% and 70.6% respectively and Komercni Banka some 21.3% in terms of capital adequacy and 75.7% of loans to deposits at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021.
