Equa Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.2% at the end of 2021, down from 17.6% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.6% in 2020 and an all time low of 12.8% in 2016.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.4% at the end of 2021, down from 15.6% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 82.4% at the end of 2021, up from 77.3% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing Equa Bank with its closest peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the year 2021 with a capital adequacy ratio at 23.8% and loans to deposits of 70.0%, CSOB with 22.7% and 70.6% respectively and Komercni Banka some 21.3% in terms of capital adequacy and 75.7% of loans to deposits at the end of 2021.
