Historically, dry natural gas production in the USA reached an all time high of 27,059 bil cb ft in 2015 and an all time low of 16,059 bil cb ft in 1986. When compared to USA's main peers, dry natural gas production in Canada amounted to 5,295 bil cb ft, 4,487 bil cb ft in China, 157 bil cb ft in Japan and 1,426 bil cb ft in Mexico in 2015.
