Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption in Kuwait reached an all time high of 76.2 '000 bpd in 2012 and an all time low of 10.1 '000 bpd in 1986. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption in Bahrain amounted to 6.07 '000 bpd, 341 '000 bpd in Iraq, 609 '000 bpd in Iran and 753 '000 bpd in Saudi Arabia in 2015.
