Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption in Uganda reached an all time high of 12.4 '000 bpd in 2008 and an all time low of 1.20 '000 bpd in 1987. When compared to Uganda's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption in Kenya amounted to 36.3 '000 bpd, 2.70 '000 bpd in Rwanda, 8.34 '000 bpd in South Sudan and 18.6 '000 bpd in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2015.
