Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Turkey reached an all time high of 2.76% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.725% in 1998. When compared to Turkey's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Bulgaria amounted to 0.292%, 0.640% in Greece, 2.59% in Iraq and 4.63% in Iran in 2015.
