Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Portugal reached an all time high of 0.729% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.286% in 1986. When compared to Portugal's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in France amounted to 7.21%, 0.507% in Ireland, 0.807% in Morocco and 4.40% in Spain in 2015.
