Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Kuwait reached an all time high of 0.575% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.059% in 2000. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Bahrain amounted to 0.046%, 2.59% in Iraq, 4.63% in Iran and 5.72% in Saudi Arabia in 2015.
