Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 0.125% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.029% in 2004. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Botswana amounted to 0.083%, 0.102% in Mozambique, 1.98% in South Africa and 0.071% in Zambia in 2015.
