Currant production rose 4.81% to 27,030 tonnes in Ukraine in 2021, according to Faostat.
Historically, currant production in Ukraine reached an all time high of 29,630 tonnes in 2018 and an all time low of 14,594 tonnes in 1999. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, currant production in Poland amounted to 152,000 tonnes, 40.0 tonnes in Romania and 474,400 tonnes in Russia in 2021.
