Historically, currant production in Czechia reached an all time high of 37,786 tonnes in 1989 and an all time low of 980 tonnes in 2019. When compared to Czechia's main peers, currant production in Austria amounted to 4,080 tonnes, 3,850 tonnes in Hungary, 152,000 tonnes in Poland and 110 tonnes in Slovakia in 2021.
