Historically, cucumber and gherkin production in Ukraine reached an all time high of 1,080 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 387 kt in 1992. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, cucumber and gherkin production in Poland amounted to 473 kt, 150 kt in Romania and 1,649 kt in Russia in 2021.
