CSOB's capital adequacy ratio reached 20.0% at the end of second quarter of 2024, up from 19.2% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 24.8% in 1Q2021 and an all time low of 9.43% in 2Q2008.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 20.0% at the end of second quarter of 2024, down from 20.0% compared to the same period of last year and up from 19.1% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 68.5% at the end of 2Q2024, up from 60.2% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 56.5%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the second quarter of 2024 with a capital adequacy ratio at 19.0% and loans to deposits of 69.0%, Komercni Banka with 18.9% and 69.3% respectively and MONETA Money Bank some 19.4% in terms of capital adequacy and 63.6% of loans to deposits at the end of the second quarter of 2024.
