Historically, crude oil reserves as a share of worldwide reserves in Egypt reached an all time high of 0.630% in 1994 and an all time low of 0.265% in 2015. When compared to Egypt's main peers, crude oil reserves as a share of worldwide reserves in Israel amounted to < 0.001%, 2.93% in Libya, 16.1% in Saudi Arabia and 0.303% in Sudan in 2017.
