Crude oil reserves as a share of worldwide reserves rose 0% to 0.091% in Chad in 2017, according to EIA.

Historically, crude oil reserves as a share of worldwide reserves in Chad reached an all time high of 0.116% in 2006 and an all time low of 0.090% in 2015. When compared to Chad's main peers, crude oil reserves as a share of worldwide reserves in Cameroon amounted to 0.012%, 0.009% in Niger, 2.25% in Nigeria and 0.303% in Sudan in 2017.
