Crude birth rate per 1,000 people fell 3.71% to 14.1 births in Sri Lanka in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 36.6 births in 1960 and an all time low of 14.1 births in 2022.
