Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Ukraine reached an all time high of 20.5 births in 1960 and an all time low of 7.70 births in 2001. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Poland amounted to 8.10 births, 7.60 births in Romania and 8.90 births in Russia in 2022.
