Historically, corporate loans in Moldova reached an all time high of USD 2.54 bil in 2011 and an all time low of USD 1.20 bil in 2016. When compared to Moldova's main peers, corporate loans in Bulgaria amounted to USD 19.0 bil, USD 26.8 bil in Romania, USD 472 bil in Russia and USD 29.6 bil in Ukraine in 2017.
