Historically, coconut consumption per capita in Iceland reached an all time high of 2.20 kg in 1986 and an all time low of 0.830 kg in 2018. When compared to Iceland's main peers, coconut consumption per capita in Denmark amounted to 1.39 kg, 0.550 kg in Norway, 0.810 kg in Sweden and 1.12 kg in United Kingdom in 2021.
