Historically, coconut consumption per capita in Lebanon reached an all time high of 2.50 kg in 2007 and an all time low of 0.200 kg in 1964. When compared to Lebanon's main peers, coconut consumption per capita in Cyprus amounted to 0.380 kg, 0.960 kg in Israel, 1.33 kg in Jordan and 0.210 kg in Syria in 2021.
