Cocoa bean consumption per capita rose 50.0% to 0.030 kg in Tanzania in 2021, according to Faostat.

Historically, cocoa bean consumption per capita in Tanzania reached an all time high of 0.050 kg in 2017 and an all time low of 0.010 kg in 1963. When compared to Tanzania's main peers, cocoa bean consumption per capita in Kenya amounted to 0.080 kg, 0.120 kg in Mozambique, 0.020 kg in Uganda and 0.030 kg in Zambia in 2021.
