Cocoa bean consumption per capita rose 11.3% to 2.56 kg in Greece in 2021, according to Faostat.

Historically, cocoa bean consumption per capita in Greece reached an all time high of 3.03 kg in 2009 and an all time low of 0.310 kg in 1961. When compared to Greece's main peers, cocoa bean consumption per capita in Albania amounted to 1.27 kg, 2.55 kg in Bulgaria, 3.18 kg in Macedonia and 1.01 kg in Turkey in 2021.

Greece has been ranked 30th within the group of 156 countries we follow in terms of cocoa bean consumption per capita, 13 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
