Historically, cocoa bean consumption per capita in Senegal reached an all time high of 0.260 kg in 2009 and an all time low of 0.010 kg in 1961. When compared to Senegal's main peers, cocoa bean consumption per capita in Gambia amounted to 0.130 kg, 0.140 kg in Guinea, 0.020 kg in Mali and 0.130 kg in Mauritania in 2021.
