Cigarette consumption per capita of 15+ years old fell 2.95% to 1,208 per year in Denmark in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, cigarette consumption per capita of 15+ years old in Denmark reached an all time high of 1,989 per year in 2004 and an all time low of 1,067 per year in 2014. When compared to Denmark's main peers, cigarette consumption per capita of 15+ years old in Germany amounted to 1,073 per year, 700 per year in Netherlands, 401 per year in Norway and 661 per year in Sweden in 2016.
