On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 7.69% at the end of 2018, up from -3.76% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 43.5% in 2009 and an all time low of -3.76% in 2017. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 15.1%.
At the end of 2018, China Minsheng Banking's loans accounted for 94.2% of total deposits and 50.2% of total assets.
